Claude Sonnet 4.5 will be available for Copilot Pro, Pro+, Business, and Enterprise. You’ll be able to select the model in the Copilot Chat model picker from:
Copilot CLI
All users of Copilot Pro, Pro+, Business, and Enterprise will also be able to select Claude Sonnet 4.5 from the new model picker, available in the latest version of the Copilot CLI (v0.0.329).
To switch to Claude Sonnet 4.5, update to the latest version with
npm install -g [@GitHub](https://github-grid.enterprise.slack.com/team/U01SS5FBV5Y)/copilot

For all use cases, rollout will be gradual, check back soon if you don’t see it yet.
Enterprise and Business plan administrators must enable the Claude Sonnet 4.5 policy in Copilot settings. Once enabled, users in that organization will have Claude Sonnet 4.5 available in the Copilot Chat model picker and Copilot CLI.
Copilot Free, Pro, and Pro+ users may also bring their own key in Visual Studio Code by selecting Manage Models from the picker, choosing Anthropic, and entering their API key when prompted.
