this is not working with node 14 because another dependency module needed node 18

The installation of @vue/cli was working fine a week ago with version 5.0.8, but it suddenly started failing due to an issue with @inquirer/external-editor

The @vue/cli package itself hasn't been updated in years (latest is v5.0.8), but it relies on inquirer, which depends on @inquirer/external-editor. That package recently released a new version that now requires Node 18+.
