Students application being denied

Hi everyone,

I am using Student Education pack benefits for a while now and I got email stating to renew before June 1 , So I submitted Admission Card / Receipt and it doesn't accept it stating this

As the image stated... My Last name didn't include my Initials so i added it and Re-Login into my account , Submitted the request again but still get this error again

Though the Card Headline states its admission card at the end it acts as receipt as they mentioned paid sum and the date of it

From the email you received, it looks like GitHub rejected the application for two reasons:

1. The name on your document didn’t exactly match the name in your GitHub billing info.
2. The uploaded document (an admission card/receipt) isn’t considered valid proof of current enrollment.

💡 What worked for me:
I made sure my school document showed my full legal name, matching exactly what I entered in GitHub billing settings. I also used a student ID card with the current academic year instead of a receipt or admission letter.

👉 My personal tip:
When I resubmitted my application with the correct document, I didn’t get any confirmation email, but that’s normal.
If GitHub doesn’t email you again, it usually means your application meets the requirements. Just wait — mine got approved within 4 days, during that same week.

So I’d suggest rechecking your name in GitHub billing settings, submitting a valid document like your student ID, and applying again through this link.
