What makes the Transform Processor alpha? Could it be moved to beta?

Describe the issue you're reporting

It appears the transform processor offers some options that neither the attributes processor nor the resource processor can provide. However, I believe customers might hesitate to use a feature that is labelled as "alpha". @atoulme suggested that it could also be moved to beta. I don't know what needs to happen for that but please consider taking these steps - thanks!
