This is a reasonable request. PRs welcome. Or we can try to schedule one of us working on it |

processor/interval
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It seems that the interval processor always process "Monotonically increasing, cumulative sums" metrics (collected with ObservableLongCounter)
It'd be great if the interval process can be configured to batch only the histograms.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add an option to bypass cumulative sums
Describe alternatives you've considered
This can be achieved by splitting the pipeline and using the filter processor, but I think having this option in the interval processor is useful.
