The documentation for mining locally with an ASIC(s), which is the only legitimate profitable way going forward in 2024+, and NOT using a pool is impossible to find and very hard to piece together, if it is even possible. Let us please contribute clear instructions for various systems including WIn/iOS to help our community stay and grow decentralized.
The questions which we have setting this up. Add more if you have them in this discussion.
Workername Mode: Custom
Workername: ASIC_ID (i guess this can be any descriptor you want to identify your machine on the pool stats page)
Pool: stratum+tcp://solo-ckb.2miners.com:6565 (this is the location of the pool, so change this to your local IP, but what port 6565 or 8114?) Is stratum+tcp still needed or useful? Maybe local asic setup would be "tcp://192.168.wherever.yoursis:8114"?
Worker: YOUR_ADDRESS (this is easy, it's the CKB address you want the block rewards to accrue to)
Location: all (if someone can list the new Bitmain Antminer K7 setup instructions and what needs to be changed)
