Limitation of Sounds sent to birdnet

We run some pi based birdnet devices which are connected to the network using GSM (GSM hub on top of the PI). To reduce the network usage and related cost, would it be possible to limit the number of sounds sent to birdnet per species and day? One example is #7979 (called OVH Lutikon) where i have 1.250 at the moment for the last 24 hours. Much appreciated your help.
