Audio (e.g. MP3) to MIDI

I had a user request like so:
I wanted to ask if there’s a chance you implement audio (mp3/wav..) —> midi conversion at some point?

Audio to midi conversions are quite a challenging one because midi has the individual instrument notes while audio has that already all together. 

There are some new AI tools that can do this, such as Basic Pitch by Spotify https://github.com/spotify/basic-pitch, which I could possibly integrate the app with.
However, I think that may be such an undertaking that it may turn into a whole other site/app.

I've made this discussion page here about it, so let's see if other have interest in adding it.
