First char input doesnt do anything.

I updated my NixOs from 24.11 to 25.05, hyprlock got updated from 0.5 to 0.8.2.
Ever since the update, I have noticed that my first input is not registered.

Is this the new default behaviour? how do i revert back?

after further testing, I found out this doesn't happen when executing hyprlock as is, but only when it is triggered by systemctl suspend
