Happy to help! Stumbled upon on alltalk just few days ago and so far have tested it and loving it. Currently, I'm primarily interested in using piper models but happy to contribute to other areas. The first thing I'm trying to enhance is piper streaming api and see if that can be enabled. |

Project Status & Current Needs
Thanks to everyone who has been supporting and using AllTalk TTS! The project has recently made significant progress with Docker integration (thanks to the amazing work by Paladinium), making the software much more accessible to the community.
Why We Need Help
As some of you may know from my previous updates, I'm currently in the midst of a major relocation to provide care for family members with long-term health conditions. While I remain committed to AllTalk TTS, my availability will remain significantly limited over the next few months. During this transition period, I have limited access to my development machine, which constrains my ability to develop, test, and thoroughly review PRs in a timely manner.
Areas Where Help Is Needed
We're looking for community members who can contribute in the following areas:
Docker Support: Building upon Paladinium's excellent work establishing our Docker workflow ([See Paladinium's recent discussion and current needs here](Gather ideas of how to shape the Dockerfile for alltalk beta #378 (comment)))
Bug Fixes: Addressing open issues, particularly those affecting core functionality
Documentation: Improving setup guides and usage documentation, especially for the new Docker implementation
PR Reviews: Helping to review and test submitted pull requests
Feature Development: Working on planned enhancements (see our roadmap or open issues)
Community Support: Assisting other users in troubleshooting common issues
How to Contribute
If you're interested in contributing, please:
Even small contributions make a big difference! Whether you can offer a few hours or more substantial time, all help is sincerely appreciated during this transitional period.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support of AllTalk TTS!
