Parent-child relationship issue on custom connector builder connection

I tried to set up custom connector to take 'brand' field from a parent stream and inject the parent key result('brand') on other stream link . It was working properly before. During testing it was returning 5 by limit but when the connection is created it was returning all 300 on my case. Now it only stops on 5 items. Any ideas?
