You want to use the pwmio module instead. This was changed a couple years ago to reflect a similar change in CircuitPython. |

No, PulseOut is used for sending IR. pwmio is for simpler continuous PWM. I don't think PulseOut has been implemented. I'm not sure how to do it on Linux. |

The pulseio library does not support PulseOut for sending ir codes on Raspberry Pi, or if I'm reading pulseio.py out correctly, on any Blinka board. Is there a reason this feature isn't enabled? Seems odd to me that PulseIn is supported (and works) but PulseOut isn't.
