Promotion

I don't think this great EQ has had much active promotion, it could be very popular if people knew about it. Is having it widely used a goal? Maybe there is some strategy to wait until version 1.0 to promote it more?

Some ideas:

• Write to YouTube influencers asking for a review. One good review from someone like https://www.youtube.com/@Whiteseastudio could blow up ZL Eq.
• Anyone reading this with a KVR account can add a review here: https://www.kvraudio.com/product/zl-equalizer-by-zl-audio
• Gearspace has almost no mention of this EQ anywhere! A special developer/company account is needed to post in the "new product alert" section. That would be best, if not anyone can post in "music computers"
• Post regularly on the big forums when a new release is out. https://www.reddit.com/r/audioengineering/comments/1dsucme/have_you_tried_this_free_eq_it_seems_to_be_as/ is 8 months old and does not have the EQ name in the title.
• Post on small community forums where the real fans will find it and share the word with others, places like https://linuxmusicians.com/

After the apparently ongoing implementation of the tool-tips popups, it would really be worth promoting it stronger.

Hello, I'd like to ask if this fantastic plugin, has an installer for 64-bit Windows?
I've only seen ZL.Equalizer-0.6.2-Windows-x86.exe

@tcorchea That installer is exactly for x86_64 + Windows 10 & after. I didn't add the 64 suffix because all installers are for 64-bit systems. You can see more info here: https://zl-audio.github.io/help/plugin_installation/#windows-installation. ARM64 version will be available once ARM sorts out some problems of their ARM64 runners.

Thanks for the suggestion. After several months, it is time to close this discussion. Although promotion is not a bad thing, there are always more things on my to-do list, which are far more interesting.

Perhaps I will do some promotion when the compressor plugin is ready, so that I can get some feedback or bug reports :)
