Moving repository to GitHub-Org?

Useful fine-grained permissions are not available for non-organization repositories on GitHub.. :(

I would really like to give contributors some collaboration-privileges on the repository, but as the security of this collection is very important (possible supply-chain attacks) - I would rather not give away merge permissions..

I do not think I miss any permissions. I can work with developing on a fork and testing in my own lab and then submit when i am done.
