Hi. Yes I am getting lots of requests about the tap tempo, will be looking into it over the next few days. The SX1509 chip itself is capable of driving leds. I think the bigger issue for me will be configuration. Some people might want 16 switches and no leds, and another might way 8 and 8. or someone else might want 16 switches and 16 leds (it is possible to run dual SX1509.) I'm running into more problems in this area (configuration) due to the number of footswitches and the huge variance in how people want to use them. For the web config, I wanted to make it as versatile as possible, so did the Midi CC value. I did think about a select with all the possible parameters in it, but that is more than 100 so I'm not sure how practical that is. Maybe there is a better way (again open to ideas.) I'm also not a web programmer so that side is really painful for me. As far as Discord, I've never used it before. I'm not against the idea of some better discussions medium though. At the moment I'm getting hammered every day through Facebook, Youtube and here and am struggling a little to keep up. Not sure if having Discord also would be helpful or just more work. |

현재 소프트웨어적으로 SX1509 2개 사용해서 led 구현 가능 한건가요? 아직 개발 예정 인가요? 구현가능 실행 방법을 자세히 알려주시면 고맙겠습니다. |

Hi @Builty,
I looked at your new implementation of external IO expander and it looks very promising! I hope we will get a working Tap Tempo feature soon too 😄
Would it be possible for the SX1509 to control LEDs? They could signal currently selected preset and whether given effect is switched on or off. Also for future tap tempo that would be a great indicator too 😎
Effect switching is an amazing feature, thank you for this.
Although the web configuration for effects switching looks very rough (you need to lookup the values when you want to change them), I though it might use some improvements. When I find some time I'll share a PR 😉
Also, maybe we could start a
Tonex One Controller DIY Community
on Discord? People could share their projects, 3D print designs and help each other with issues. It would be much better than only Github discussions, and people asking for help on facebook groups.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
