Just to share my experience in case it helps anyone else who is looking for more footswitches on a Chocolate to turn more functions on Tonex One on/off.
If you don't need the expression input for an expression pedal, use a latching footswitch (two pole TS plug, Marshall single channel switcher used) in the expression input. In Cube Suite, set the expression pedal to the CC of choice with minimum value (0) and max value (127). For my purpose, setting it to CC75 for Reverb power on/off, it works to switch it on and off reliably over BT to Tonex via the Zero.
Further note on this concept of hacking the exp input for switch functionality - I tried to link it to tap tempo functionality using CC10 and a momentary footswitch, but this does not work well. ON both the 'on' and 'off' events CC10 is sent, regardless of min and max value settings, therefore the tap tempo works only in relation to the lenght of the button press (not very useful in practice).
