5v usb power or 9v Dc power, does it make any difference in the sound of the tonex one?

I haven't heard any one report any changes in sound from the 5v or 9v. The power supplies can be sensitive to noise in some cases, but it seems like this is not that common. Isolated supplies are better here.

Hi, I've finished my new build for the tonex controller with the step down module, but the power stepdown is kinda bad. I bought the same as the readme, but the trim pot is so sensitive, I finish my build, glued the trim pot to make sure it stays in place. I test it for half an hour then my ESP32 fried because the trim pot move inside the box...

Hi Louis. Thats very unfortunate and I'm sorry it happened. I still have my sample. Its been sitting in a bag for a few months.
I got it out again and measured it, and its showing as 5.15v. I'm not sure why the trim pot would move when glued.
