AWS allows you to upload simple Cloudwatch metrics without dimensions but this extension does not accommodate this scenario. Raised a support case with AppDynamics and they confirmed the metrics need at least one dimension or it fails to pull them in.

Would be great for the extension to be updated to allow for this scenario.
