The DNS Blocklists project provides a comprehensive set of DNS blocklists available in multiple versions - from Light to Ultimate - that can be used standalone to enhance internet security and privacy for any region. These blocklists block a wide range of unwanted content including ads, tracking, telemetry, phishing, malware, scams, cryptojacking, and fake domains. Unlike simple aggregations, the lists are carefully optimized and extended from various trusted sources to efficiently "clean the Internet" at the DNS level. They support many formats for popular DNS resolvers and blockers such as Pi-hole, AdGuard Home, and others, including Response Policy Zone (RPZ) formats.

Versions differ by aggressiveness and size, offering options for relaxed to aggressive blocking to suit different network environments. Additional specialized lists cover areas like Threat Intelligence, newly registered domains (NRDs), dynamic DNS abuse, DNS rebind protection, pop-up ads, and fake scams. The project also integrates with online DNS services for easy deployment on mobile and other devices.
