Konsole background blur not working correctly

Hi,
I noticed that the background blur of Konsole is getting applied just once and as soon as the Konsole window is active, it's gone again.
I already completely removed KDE Material You and reinstalled it, both manually and using AUR.
Nothing fixed it for me.
Also creating a new Konsole profile didn't work.
When I set blurred background in the Plasmoid it gets enabled. But as soon as I activate the window the background has normal transparency again.

• Wayland with Nvidia

Hi @Jannomag Does it happen to new Konsole windows or just the current one?

Can't reproduce on my system running Intel iGPU, both existing ans new Konsole windows have blur.

The blur is missing from new windows completely. I don't have integrated graphics but I don't think that this can be the issue since the blur is working fine anywhere else. Also it worked before I installed Material You.

Start kde-material-you from the terminal and Enable the blur

kde-material-you-colors

In a new tab/window run this after the blur stops working

Expected behavior
Can work if i turn blur off and on in kde material you colors,but if reopen konsole it will stop work again.

Hmm everything looks as it should, does the blur stay enabled if you stop kde-material-you then open Konsole and enable it manually?

I even tried in a separate user and it works correctly so not sure what exactly is causing this, have you tried that?

i stopped kde-material-you, and started from konsole, everything is okay ?

The thing is, it worked fine before,its just it stopped working properly after some updates or restarts ,i dont really know, but i can say that it worked 1 day without any issues.

Sorry I wasn't clear, after stopping kde-material-you try opening a new Konsole window and try to toggle blur from there (konsole settings) to verify it works as expected.

Maybe there is a bug caused by the settings being reloaded externally, just guessing... I think you should really try to reproduce the bug with another account.

I tested with and without, it had same result,maybe something got broken,sadly.
I am using rx6800 xt and it should not have any issues,at least with drivers,maybe because my system hard crashed it could had problems?

Unless it was crashing in the same session where the bug happens I doubt that to be related.
