Can you please post the original, uncleaned Facebook link? Does every link on FB contain this parameter? I have the feeling this Facebook page (or whatever it is called, I don't have FB) added this argument themselves.

It seems Echobox is not related to Facebook and is actually a company and analytics product. I think it makes sense to have an own sanitizer for Echobox, as these parameters could surface somewhere else, too.
