The extension isn't updating the list of current streams

Recently the extension stopped updating the current streams, only shows old ones that have already ended. The refresh button above them does nothing. I have tried to relog, reset the extension and even reinstall, but the best it could do is to get the ones currently on but then didn't refresh again since, which also means no notifications. I don't know what could be the cause.

EDIT: Looks like the only solution was a completely fresh firefox/waterfox profile.
