Description
Describe the bug
The app cannot detect the Roku device on my network, either automatically, or even after I enter the IP address manually.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Launch app
- Notice that it says "No Rokus found on the network"
- Press "Retry" and notice that it continues to say "No Rokus found on the network"
- Enter IP address manually and hit "Save". Message indicates "IP/Hostname saved"
- Launch Twitch app, open stream, share to Twitched app
- Error appears: "Failed to cast to the Twitched Roku app"
Expected behavior
App detects Roku automatically, or at least launches stream successfully if the Roku's IP address is entered manually.
Screenshots
N/A
Roku (please complete the following information):
- Roku Firmware: 9.0.0 build 4151-30
- Roku Model: 7106X
- Twitched Roku Version: Twitched 1.7.3016
- Twitched Android Version: 1.3.1
Additional context
- I have tried both the public version on Google Play as well as the beta version.
- I have ensured that the correct Roku app ("Twitched", not "Twitched Zero") is selected from the Android app.
- The Twitched chrome extension works as expected after manually entering the Roku's IP address.
